Uniform Experiment has been collaborating with Cahartt for three seasons now and I haven't seen a single item in person. Then again I only remember seeing one Carhartt x APC t-shirt ever.
The benefits of these collaborations are obvious and this collection looks like a prime candidate for tracking down, although if the only option it Tokyo, they can, quite frankly, keep them.

Uniform Experiment x Alpha N3-B parka: toasty
Now we're getting weather along the lines of what we should be getting at this time of year, thoughts turn to ever-warmer garments. The US military's N3B parka should do the trick in terms of keeping the chills out, especially with that hood trim, and with the Uniform Experiment treatment you get an added sartorial twist.

Rocky Mountain Featherbed x Uniform Experiment: puffed up
Here's the Uniform Experiment version of the Rocky Mountain Featherbed leather vest - looks like a Christie to me - which in keeping with most Japanese collabs these days amounts to a couple of initials on the flip side of the collar.
Maybe the leather's different, I dunno. The price will definitely be.

Carhartt x Uniform Experiment and Sophnet: Japanese flavour
Carhartt has had a bit of a workover from a couple of the more stylish names in Japanese fashion.
In the space of a day we have been given a taste of the American workwear brand's collaborations with Uniform Experiment and Sophnet.
This isn't the first time Carhartt has looked towards the east for some divine inspiration - it follows on from a partnership with Bathing Ape a year or more ago.

Uniform Experiment Alpha MA1: A light touch

It always amazes me how Fujiwara can add the subtlest detail to a garment and all of a sudden it looks marvelous. Sometimes all it takes is that Fragment Design logo, or a splash of colour. Other times it's the monotone nature that makes something striking. A kind of less is more approach.
Take the Alpha MA1 flight jacket. A pretty mundane affair most of the time. Then along he trots and sticks a new panel on the arm and adds some stars and insignia and bingo, you're looking at a different gravy.
This latest Uniform Experiment release is in conjunction with Alpha, which provides a heavy dollop of added authenticity.
Nice.
