Tokyobike: Popping a wheely into London

Japan isn't the first country that springs to mind when I think of pursuits of the pedal-powered variety.

But they have a cycle scene to rival anyone, and among the more notable players in it is Tokyobike.

In typical Japanese fashion, the emphasis is on design and simplicity, so you get some impressive creations in all manner of hues, aluminium frames and ergomic handlebars.

And you won't have to free-wheel over there to get one because Tokyobike is opening a pop-up shop in London this month.

Make sure you test the brakes before you buy one.
