Ahoy there you in the nautical stripes

I read somewhere the other day that nautical stripes are back, and then I tried to think of a summer when they weren't back. Sailor stripes are as much a part of summer as Pimms and rained off cricket and trips to the seaside spent shivering in a shelter.

The great thing is that just to wear the stuff makes you feel summery, more so if you have a yacht.

And you don't have to be a girl to rock the maritime tip. Or a sailor.

Which is why I went for this little maritime flavoured Visvim number. The aforementioned nautical stripes are close enough together to send your eyes a bit funny, and the cotton is so fine that the seams have already twisted but hey, or rather ahoy! This is summer, or France, depending on if you prefer a Captain Birdseye beard or have a penchant for berets and garlic bulbs.
