If you get to the bakery department at the right time (about 4pm on a Sunday) they sell off pain au chocolat at 45p for a packet of two. At that sort of price you would be rude not to get them, especially since there really is nothing that goes better with a mug of freshly brewed coffee (triple espresso, topped with water, Americano style).You need to give the pain au chocolat a quick warm up in the oven to achieve maximum effect (that's it on the foil behind the coffee pot, not a turd).
Not the healthiest start to the day, it must be said, and yes mum, I did have a bowl of bran flakes before. But eau! Eau! Eau! Eet is tasty!
